New tattoo shops on Lincoln and the square

Chad Henderson did his first tattoo when he was 15 years old.

One of Henderson's friends, who was also 15, started tattooing on himself, but ran into a spot on his elbow that he could not reach.

Henderson took over and helped his friend finish the tattoo. He has been tattooing ever since and professionally since he was 21 years old.

Now, Henderson owns his own tattoo shop.

Henderson opened Skin Tease Professional Tattoo, 429 Lincoln Ave. next to Positively 4th Street Records, on Aug. 12. Skin Tease Tattoo is just one of two tattoo shops to open over the summer.
